Dennis also sits on the Board of Directors of the California-Nevada-Hawaii Kiwanis District Foundation. The foundation serves the 22,000+ members of the approximately 600 Kiwanis Clubs in the three-state district of Kiwanis International.

The Foundation supports the district's Kiwanis clubs through three main goals. The first is to support pediatric trauma programs in the major children's hospitals throughout the district. Bicycle helmets are distributed to kids across the district through the participating Kiwanis Clubs in the district. The second is to provide scholarships to members of Sponsored Youth Clubs. These clubs include Key Clubs and Kiwins in high schools. The final area of club support is the foundation's grant program. Clubs can apply and receive up to $1,500 in seed money to help develop a community project in its area.
