Essay Contest Enter To Win $1,000 in Prize Money
          (See attached page for rules.)

Part One
Please explain why you will OR will not support mandatory homosexual orientation classes in public schools - and private schools as well - beginning with kindergarten-age children (AB222.) Also, please explain why you agree OR do not agree that people should be fined up to $25,000 and investigated by the State of California if they voice an impure thought abouut homosexuality (AB1001.)
You must be pro on both issues or con on both issues.
You cannot split your position or your essay will be discarded.

Part Two
What will you do to make your community and your Assembly District's California State Assembly Member aware of your concerns?

Part Three
Finally, prioritize how you feel our State Assembly Members should be spending their time. Use the following six choices.

  1. Work on legislation to fund transportation programs that make our commutes bearable.
  2. Help our children in public schools to have a better command of the Basic Skills - Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic instead of learning just one Basic Skill - achieving sexual gratification through whatever means possible (AB222/AB1001.)
  3. Require a 2/3's majority of voters to approve any tax increase versus a simple majority vote.
  4. Make health care more accessible/affordable for everyone, especially retired, senior citizens.
  5. Introduce legislation that promotes and legitimizes homosexuality and the homosexual lifestyle here in California (AB26, AB107, AB222, AB1001, SB75, SB118 and SB1260.)
  6. Stop using our tax dollars to pay for illegal immigrants.
(Rank the most important one first. The least important is last.)
    Most Important _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ Least

    Example
    Most Important: __2__ __1__ __4__ __3__ __6_ __5__ Least

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

In order to address the three components of the essay; consider that the elected representatives/politicians in our California State Assembly are focused on proposing many new laws designed to advance the homosexual lifestyle and agenda.

These elected representatives/politicians are doing little to nothing in addressing our commute concerns. They continue to only give lip service to our children's education in the critical basic skills necessary to succeed in life. The ongoing need for affordable and accessible health care for seniors has been all but forgotten. The legislature continues to allow our tax dollars to pay for illegal immigrants to stay in California instead of deporting them.

Your voice needs to be heard - NOW!

All entries must be postmarked and sent to the address at the top of the page. You may send entries by e-mail to jdwolfe@jdwolfe.com or jdwolfe@home.com by May 15th. All entries sent by U.S. Mail must be computer printed or typewritten. There is no time to read handwritten copies or return any entry. All essays become property of J.D. Wolfe for his use. You must sign the entry if you send it by U.S. Mail or it will be sent back for signature if time allows and you may not be counted in the first 1,000 submitted.

Entries submitted through e-mail will be given priority in judging and in count.

Regardless of how the entry arrives, you must include your contact information. This includes your full name, a mailing address, contact phone numbers and your age (you must be 18 years of age or older to enter.) You will be required to prove you are a registered voter in order to collect a cash prize, should you win. Your answer in Part One can either be on the pro or con side of the issue. However, you must be completely pro or completely con.

Independent judges will judge entries submitted by any individual known personally to J.D. Wolfe. If there is an essay judged to be a potential winner in this defined group, it will be judged against the other entries selected by J.D. Wolfe as potential winners. If this should occur, the independent judges will determine the final winners. The intent of the contest is to be fair.

The contest sponsor has no hatred against anyone who elects the homosexual lifestyle. It is the opinion of the contest sponsor that what is at issue is the decision of how we move forward as a society and what the family structure is to be in California. According to Assembly Bill 222, the homosexual community wants to stop discrimination against anyone's sexual orientation and they define it to be actual or perceived heterosexuality, homosexuality or bi-sexuality. In another Assembly Bill, they have a different definition of sexual orientation.

For questions, you may call 510-492-0863 and ask for Dennis. This phone number does not have voice mail and is only picked up when someone is in the office during the day. Quite simply, we do not want to be deluged with calls.

For more information regarding the language of the various Assembly Bills as outlined in Part Three of the contest, go to www.assembly.ca.gov, click on "Legislation" and follow the instructions to access each Bill.
